A line of fashion sneakers for extra comfort

American rapper Kanye West in a collaboration with German sportswear brand Adidas created sneakers called Yeezy that are produced with the proprietary ‘Boost’ base material for extra comfort. The Adidas Yeezy is a line of fashion limited-edition sneakers that feature a premium leather/shoe’s knit, sock-like upper mostly with perforated stripes and a full-foot Boost cushioning system which provides a finishing touch with its signature comfort. Thanks to a billion-dollar Yeezy's empire, Kanye West became the third highest-earning celebrity on Earth. According to Forbes, his income over the past year has reached $150 million of his music and Yeezy merchandise. His estimated net worth is $240 million. Together with his similarly mega-famous wife, Kim Kardashian West that owns KKW Beauty, they collectively worth over half a billion dollars. West's upstart is expected to top $1.5 billion in 2019 and growing.

Casamigos is a tequila company co-founded in 2013 by George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman. Casamigos Tequila is best-tasting, smoothest, no throat burns, and can be consumed day and night without the morning-after hangover. Friends tried a lot of tequila but nothing was perfect, so they get together to create their own brand and the final product was “perfect” by their standards. George Clooney’s private tequila label, that was created to share with family and friends only, turned into a billion-dollar business for the 56-year-old Oscar winner and his partners. It became the fastest-growing super-premium tequila brand in the US. And already in 2017, it was acquired by the world's largest spirits manufacturer Diageo. Clooney and his partners sold Casamigos tequila company for $1 billion.

Lady Gaga has taken her first step into the world of cosmetics with the launch of her own personal retail brand in beauty called HAUS LABORATORIES. The product is launched online both with the personal webpage as well as in an exclusive partnership deal with the online retail giant, Amazon. It will be the first online cosmetics brand launched by Amazon as the venture’s retail partner, backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners and is set to launch in nine countries around the world in September 2019. Industry sources estimate that HAUS LABORATORIES could pull in $75 million in sales in its first full year.

Branded capsule collection of the Duchess of Sussex

Meghan Markle, an American-born actress and currently a member of the British Royal family, has just unveiled her brand new capsule collection which starting September 2019. She worked on pieces in partnership with some of the biggest players in the fashion industry, including top fashion clothing retailers Jigsaw, Marks and Spencer, a chain of high-end department stores John Lewis, and US-based fashion designer Misha Nonoo. The 'The Smart Set' office-ready attire includes five, classic wardrobe pieces such as shirt, trousers, blazer, dress and tote bag, to help women feel confident as they mobilise back into the workplace. The Duchess of Sussex worked on the collection with Smart Works, a charity providing clothing and coaching for unemployed women with upcoming interviews.
